General Care Tips

Minimise Washing:
Selvedge denim improves with minimal washing. The more you wear it, the more personalized it becomes. Wash only when necessary, as this denim is Raw (unwashed) please allow approximately 5% shrinkage.

Spot Cleaning:
Use a damp cloth or soft-bristled brush to remove stains. Avoid harsh detergents.

First Wash Timing:
Wear your denim regularly for 6–12 months before the first wash to develop authentic fades and patterns.

Washing Instructions

Preparation:

Turn the jeans inside out to protect the dye.

Wash in cold water to prevent shrinkage and dye bleeding 

Method:

Hand wash for the best results.

Fill a tub with cold water and add a small amount of mild detergent.

Let the denim soak for 30 minutes.

Gently agitate and rinse thoroughly.

Machine wash on a delicate cycle if necessary.

Drying:

Air dry by hanging in a shaded area.

Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Handling Colour Transfer

Selvedge edge denim may transfer colour, especially in the early stages. To minimize this:

Avoid wearing with light-coloured fabrics or sitting on light surfaces.

Handle with care to prevent unnecessary rubbing.
